THE PROBLEM

THE PROBLEM

Pursers lack a single digital platform to centralize operations, manage cabins, and enable fast, direct communication with ground staff.

THE PROBLEM

MARKET ANALYSIS

Competitors are split into two:
Crew Management Systems - handle the high-level logistics like scheduling and compliance.
Cabin & Service Systems - focus on controlling the aircraft environment and managing passengers.

THE SOLUTION

RESEARCH - INTERVIEW INSIGHTS

We conducted interviews with active flight attendants, pursers, from El Al and American Airlines.
This research focused on mapping out operational workflows, understanding departmental roles, documenting the purser's full range of responsibilities from pre-boarding to landing.

Firstly, we discussed which product approach we will go with.
We chose to go with a Visual Management approach.

1

The interface is the plane.

interaction happens directly in space.

2

No confusion. tasks are

accessed through visual context.

3

Each zone is a workspace

tied to real, physical areas.

4

Calm, focused experience designed

for quick understanding and action.

In the end, we finalized on a look and feel for our system that we we're happy with.

As the project continued on, we kept trying to come up with different variations to make sure we don't leave any stone unturned, as shown below.
